About RescueTECH | Trusted Local Computer Repair in Regina

RescueTECH is a locally owned and operated Apple Independent Repair Provider and computer repair shop in Regina, Saskatchewan. Since 2008, we have provided out-of-warranty repairs for Macs, iPads, Windows computers, gaming consoles and more. We also offer on-site IT services for homes and businesses, including printer and Wi-Fi setup, troubleshooting and network repairs.

Most repairs are completed in 2 to 3 business days when parts are in stock, and walk-ins are always welcome.

RescueTECH is the designated third-party service provider for Panasonic Canada in our region, and supports local businesses, including Tim Hortons locations, with their technical needs in Regina and the surrounding area.

Giving Back to Our Community

Since 2012, RescueTECH has worked with Community Computers Regina Inc. (CCRegina), a CRA-registered charity founded by RescueTECH's owner, Robert Jozsa. CCRegina provides refurbished computers to people in need, directly or through referrals from community and non-profit organizations. CCRegina began in 2009 as a Saskatchewan-registered non-profit corporation.

Apple Certified Technicians

RescueTECH is a member of Apple's Independent Repair Provider program. Our Apple Certified technicians have access to genuine Apple parts, Apple training and Apple's own testing tools, so we can accurately find and repair problems on Macs, iPads and other Apple devices. We repair cracked screens, liquid damage, software problems and hardware failures on Apple devices and on Windows laptops and desktops.

Part Source Policy

Like most independent automotive service centres, RescueTECH uses a mix of genuine (OEM), aftermarket, new, used and refurbished parts. Our goal is the best balance of quality, value and turnaround time for each repair. We will explain your part options whenever there is a choice to be made. Part choice depends on:

  • Availability: some parts are hard to find or out of stock.
  • Cost: we aim to keep repair costs reasonable.
  • Turnaround time: parts we can get quickly mean your device is back in your hands sooner.
  • A combination of these factors.

Warranty and Returns

  • Hardware: 180-day (6-month) in-house warranty.
  • Services (labour): 7-day warranty.
  • Used laptops: sold with a battery that holds a charge, but battery life is not guaranteed.
  • Returns: items other than laptop batteries and consumables may be returned within 7 days of sale, subject to a 20% restocking fee.
