About RescueTECH

RescueTECH is a locally owned and operated Apple Independent Repair Provider and computer repair service based in Regina, Saskatchewan. Since 2009, we have been providing out-of-warranty repair services for iPhones, Macs, and Windows computers. We also offer on-site IT services for both home and business users. Typical on-site visits include printer and Wi-Fi setup, system troubleshooting, and network issue resolution.

We are the designated third-party service provider for Panasonic Canada in our region, supporting businesses such as Tim Hortons with their technical needs in Regina and the surrounding area.

Since 2012, RescueTECH has worked closely with Community Computers Regina Inc. (also known as CCRegina), a CRA-registered charity founded by RescueTECH’s owner, Robert Jozsa. CCRegina provides refurbished computers to individuals in need, either directly or through referrals from community-based and non-profit organizations. (Note: CCRegina originally began operating in 2009 as a Saskatchewan-registered non-profit corporation.)

RescueTECH is a member of Apple’s Independent Repair Provider Network. Our Apple-certified technicians have access to Apple’s tools and diagnostic software, allowing us to accurately assess and repair issues with Apple computers, iPhones, and other mobile devices. We service everything from cracked screens and liquid damage to software problems and hardware failures on iPhones, Macs, and Windows laptops and desktop computers.

Our services include (but are not limited to):

  • Out-of-warranty iPhone, Mac, and Windows computer repairs and service

  • On-site computer repair services for businesses and homes

  • Data recovery from failing drives and devices

  • Virus and malware removal

  • Hardware and software upgrades and installations

General policies and things we do not do:

  • We do not buy used computers from the general public

  • We do not buy or sell cellular or smart phones

  • When possible, we encourage the use of used and refurbished parts to keep costs low for our customers

  • We support and advocate for the Right to Repair of OEM products

  • We promote the reuse and repair of electronics as a better alternative to recycling

Part Source Policy

At RescueTECH, we use a mix of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), aftermarket, new, used, and refurbished parts in our repairs. Our goal is always to provide the best balance of quality, value, and turnaround time for our customers.

While we make every effort to inform customers about the type and source of parts used in their repairs, there may be times when this is not explicitly communicated. This approach is similar to how non OEM automotive service centers operate—sourcing parts from a variety of suppliers based on availability, cost, and efficiency. Reasons we may choose one part type over another include:  Availability – Some parts may be difficult to find or out of stock. Cost – We aim to keep repair prices as affordable as possible. Turnaround Time – Using locally available parts can speed up repairs. A Combination of the Above – We weigh all factors to find the best solution.

Please be assured that this policy is never intended to mislead. It's designed to deliver the best possible repair outcome while keeping costs fair and turnaround times reasonable.

All items sold, new, used and refurbished are covered by our 6 month in-house warranty on hardware, 7 day warranty on services (ie, labour).  Used laptops are sold with batteries that hold a charge.  Please note with previously used laptops, their battery life is unknown and as such we do not guarentee battery life on our used laptops. With the exception of laptop batteries and other consumables, all items purchased may be returned within 7 days of sale.  All returns subject to a 20% restocking fee.
