How long does a MacBook screen replacement take?

Most MacBook screen replacements are completed in 2 to 3 business days when the part is in stock. If the screen needs to be ordered, we will let you know the expected timeline.

Will I lose my files?

No. Replacing the screen does not touch your storage or files. We still recommend keeping a backup with Time Machine, as a general good habit.

Can only the glass be replaced?

On MacBooks from around 2013 onward, no. The glass and display are built into one assembly, so the whole top section is replaced.

Do I need an appointment?

No appointments necessary. Walk-ins are welcome during business hours.
